About the Rec &

Rec+ Program

The rec programs are a great starting place for your child to learn about the game of soccer. Practices are determined by age and coach but generally you can expect 1-2 practices per week and games Friday evening and Saturday morning.

Age

Playing levels broken down by child’s age:

Play in-house (other Hendricks Elite FC teams at Scamahorn Park)

  • u6 = 4 & 5

  • u8 = 6 & 7

  • u10 = 8-9 *Plays 1-2 games against Mill Creek teams

Play with WCSSF teams (involves travel to other local fields such as Ben Davis, Speedway, Danville)

  • u11 = 9 & 10

  • u13 = 11 & 12

  • u15 = 13 & 14

  • u19 = 15 and up

Rec+

  • U11-U15 Rec+ $150

  • U19 Rec+ $180

What Equipment Will My Child Need?

  • Soccer Cleats

  • Shin Guards

  • Soccer Ball

    • U5-U8 Use a #3 size ball

    • U10-U12 use a #4 size ball

    • U13 and above use a #5 size ball

  • Water Bottle

  • Game Uniform

    • Your game jersey will be provided by the club and is included in your registration

    • Black game shorts (purchased by parent)

    • Black soccer socks (purchased by parent)
